Built By DAO develops the technology and operating resources behind a community development platform. Software and practical playbooks provide a common foundation for work that takes shape locally.

The program is delivered through city cohorts, beginning in Chicago. Each cohort is an independent organization that uses the platform within its own community.

The approach combines shared infrastructure with local knowledge. Technology provides continuity across the platform, while each city's context and relationships give the work its direction.

• People and organizations exploring how to establish a city cohort and bring the platform to their community.
• Community groups and prospective partners interested in the work beginning in Chicago.
• Organizations interested in the platform, its operating resources, or opportunities for collaboration.
